Mrs Ilangovan graduated from medical college in 1998 and Completed her postgraduate training in O&G (MD)in Chennai in one of the busiest maternity hospitals in India in 2002 . She completed her specialist training in O&G in Yorkshire and London. She obtained her MRCOG in 2006. She completed her fellowship in fertility and assisted reproduction in ST. Helier Hospital and Kings college London and gained extensive experience in all aspects of managing subfertility and IVF treatments She has been working as a consultant in St.Helier hospital since 2013 with a special interest in fertility and assisted reproduction. She is a member of various professional organisations RCOG. BFS, ESHRE.ASRM, IFFS and is recognised BFS trainer. She takes an active part in research and has presented in various national and international conferences. She believes in holistic approach when it comes to managing subfertility in couples and offers individualised patient centred treatment.
